Executive Director of Climate Change, Nova Scotia Department of Environment
Jason Hollett has been working on climate change and energy issues for the Province of Nova Scotia for over ten years. In his current role as Executive Director of Climate Change, he is leading the development of the province's cap and trade program, scheduled to be launched in the coming year.
In addition to climate change, Jason has also been involved in a diverse range of issues including solid waste, protected areas, air quality, finance and community economic development. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University and Bachelor of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University, both in Halifax. He lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with his wife and two very active children.
